IT for NFP's & Charities

Sam’s Spares provides free refurbished IT to small, grassroots charities and not-for-profit organisations that are delivering direct support to their communities and would otherwise struggle to access reliable technology.

This program ensures limited resources are directed to where they have the greatest immediate impact.

Free refurbished IT is available to registered charities and not-for-profit organisations that:

• have an annual turnover of less than $250,000
   
• direct the majority of their funding into frontline community services, rather than administrative or executive salaries
   
• use the technology to support service delivery, not for commercial or income-generating purposes
   

Eligibility is assessed to ensure fairness, transparency, and responsible distribution.

We recognise that many charities, including larger organisations, rely on technology to deliver vital services.

Charities that do not meet the criteria for free IT are welcome to purchase refurbished devices through Sam’s Spares via our website or by requesting a direct quote.

Every purchase made through our G1G1 – Get One, Give One model contributes to:

• a matched refurbished device being donated free of charge to someone in genuine need
   
• paid, meaningful employment for neurodivergent individuals
   
• reduced electronic waste through responsible reuse
   

Sam’s Spares can provide formal quotes and supporting information for grant applications where refurbished IT is required as part of a funded project.

This allows organisations to secure the technology they need while contributing to a system that creates employment, reduces waste, and delivers equitable access to quality devices.
